Sony Playstation 4 - Launch Campaigns

For the impending launch of the PlayStation 4 system, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) wanted to not only promote their new gaming console but also maintain the relevancy of their existing in market system — PlayStation 3. The result was a phased digital advertising campaign that included an online brand store, featuring the entire sweet of SCEA devices — PS4, PS3 and PS Vita — as well as PS Network, their online online multiplay gaming and digital media service.

While the brand store operated as the online information hub, providing featured product updates and purchasing options, the cross-platform campaign focused on key device and game releases. This included online, mobile and tablet creative focused on driving pre-order and instant purchase opportunities for the PS4 gaming console as well as new games such as Killzone Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4, and Knack. The entire effort resulted in strong launch numbers and a lot of momentum into 2014.
